Early Childhood Program
As we continue to grow in our new facility at 1233 Janesville Ave, we’re excited to share that we are expanding our programs to better serve families in our community.
We have some exciting updates:
Licensing: We are in the final stages of licensing with the Department of Children and Families for our Early Childhood Rooms.
Summer Launch: Pending licensing approval, we plan to begin serving children ages 4 to 6 starting this summer with the potential to open up programming to 5 & 6 year old children yet for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. Contact us at admin@basefortatkinson.org if you are in need of after school care for 5 & 6 year olds.
Renovations: Our indoor space has undergone an extensive remodel to support expanded programming and create an even more engaging environment for children.

BASE is excited to be partnering with The School District of Fort Atkinson to provide families wrap-around care for students enrolled at Purdy Elementary 4K. Wrap around care will be district-provided (no cost to you!)
When is the wrap-around care available?
Wrap-around care will align with the District 4K Calendar and will be provided only on school days when 4K is in session (Monday-Thursday) during school hours. Wrap-around care will be offered 7:30AM-11:30AM or 11:30AM-3:30PM.
Is District 4K Programming still available as an AM or PM option?
Yes! You can still choose between AM or PM 4K programming that will best fit your child’s needs and family schedule.
Is transportation being provided between 4K and BASE?
The district shall be responsible for transportation of students between designated 4K instructional sites and BASE.
What if my child needs care before 7:30AM or after 3:30PM?
BASE will be providing after care for wrap around 4K students from 3:30pm-6:00pm Monday-Thursday and from 7:30am-6:00pm on Fridays.

How do I sign up for after care through BASE?
During 4K registration through The School District of Fort Atkinson, there is a question regarding after care. Interested families will receive an email from BASE with more information on registration.
